No Other Choice (2025)

Some parts I was lost. Some parts I perked up. Visually and audio wise, it's rich. Didn't really care enough about the characters. Overall, I didn't really like.

Gaza: Doctors Under Attack (2025)

Essential viewing, IMHO.

Badak (2025)

Didn't enjoy this as much as La Luna. I started finding faults while watching as I didn't find the characters and the story engaging enough for me.

The Lost Bus (2025)

Not bad for a generic disaster movie. But watching this while I was sleepy was not a great idea.

A Good Child《好孩子》(2025)

This stupid film about love and family made me cry. I kept my expectations low because of the trailer. But I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up enjoying this.

Strong performances and a tight narration, hearing the characters switch from one language to another just as how we hear Singaporeans speak, and a delightful appearance from Li Wenhai reminded me of how many great actors we have in Singapore and how good they can be in shows that are different from those produced for public broadcasters. Hong Hui Fang and Richie Koh are both great in this.
