We Are All Strangers《我们不是陌生人》(2026)

I was surprised I managed to keep awake as I watched it after a long day at work. The film moved along fast enough, despite clocking in at about 2.5 hrs.

I enjoy the bits showing the Singapore landscape and featuring BTS music. Yann Yann gave a strong performance and I thought Jia Ler was pretty good too, playing the character with the biggest narrative arc. I did question the plausibility of one particular scene, and guess it was meant to deliver some poignant emotions.

Watched this twice and noticed some new details which gave me further appreciation to the storytelling and filmmaking efforts.
