Pitch Perfect 3 (2017)

IMHO, if the second film was a step down in terms of quality and entertainment in comparison to the first, then this finale is a continuation down that same path. Watched on a plane and glad I didn't spend money to watch this in a cinema.

The Swindlers (2017)

Not bad. Kept me glued though I was watching on a tiny screen on a plane.

Professor Marston & the Wonder Women (2017)

Like this much. Explores some interesting ideas even as it tackles age old issues like love and conformity. Generally good performances. Recommended for mature audiences with an open mind.

The Kid from the Big Apple: Before We Forget - 我来自纽约：当我们在一起 (2017)

Flawed but like the first film, has its moments.

Loving Vincent (2017)

Struggled to keep awake. Is a pretty looking film. Was thinking while watching I may want to watch again to see what I missed.

Black Panther (2018)

Generic blockbuster. Love the action sequence in South Korea and how it halted to an end. Thought one of the talents playing the villain didn't really have oomph. Andy Serkis was fun to watch. At the end, I thought Marvel's Wakanda was kind of like DC's Paradise Island. And yes, there is a sequence after all the credits roll.

The Shape of Water (2017)

Maybe I was not in the right mood, but I found myself struggling to stay awake at parts. I wanted to like this, but didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
