As usual, watching a Moore documentary taught me something new. It's shocking how much an airline pilot earns in the United States. This is intelligent stuff.

The Informant! (2009)

Nice to see a comic approach to what may be standard plot for a thriller. Second part seems to drag a bit, but this is intelligent stuff and I enjoyed it.

The Song of Sparrows (2008)

An okay film. Content wise - I'm not really into this sort of moral parables. But I appreciated this more than lazy commercial flicks.

Paranormal Activity (2009)

I wasn't sure if I'd call this a movie, as it takes the form of video footage. But the story is pretty much standard, structured horror. I enjoyed watching this in the cinema with others. Pretty scary - it's effective in the way it uses audio and preys on that which the audience can't see.

Under The Sea (2009)

Was ok. Think this would look stunning in 3D, but the version I saw was just a normal IMAX version.

Julie & Julia (2009)

A bit too 'womanly' for my tastes.
