Flee (2021)

Several moments from the film resonated with me when I think back. In particular, the support from family.

Everything Everywhere All at Once《天馬行空》(2022)

I loved this. From the strong performances. To the ridiculous and the weird. To the attentions to details. And memorial lines from the script. This is like Turning Red, except the main character is the mum.

Turning Red (2022)

Mostly fun and entertaining. Though I couldn't figure out why the G won't have sent some kind of special ops team once a giant size red panda starts appearing in public. Too bad we also didn't get an actual 'N Sync song n the movie, but the boy band touch and nostalgia trip back to 2002 was nice.

Scream (2022)

Not sure I love the genre. But it was still entertaining and somewhat of a nostalgia trip.

The Batman (2022) - IMAX

Not bad. I was considering skipping it after seeing all the trailers. This movie is better than the trailers. Zoe Kravitz turned out to be a nice fit as the Cat; initially I thought she was miscast. Love what looks like Frank Miller and Darwyn Cooke influences used in some of the designs. Fans of the comic may get extra kicks.

Some Women (2021)

Not too bad. Mainly a documentary from a personal perspective. I learned some things. Got to know of some individuals who identify as trans; including brief but insightful peeps into the lives of a few older trans individuals who used to work at the old Bugis Street.
