Supernova (2020)

Very talkie film but it's held up by strong performances and the occasional gorgeous shots of the Lake District. It's a slow film, so it won't be for all. The film does dig deep, so it can be fulfilling for those who like this kind of things. IMHO, prob more suited to the mature crowd as maturity may afford a deeper appreciation. Altho the story centers on a gay couple - and this would make for a fine addition to the library of stories about gay people - this story connects because it can happen to any couple who have been in a long and loving relationship - regardless of gender preferences, etc.

Little Big Women《孤味》(2020)

Arthouse drama that is probably not for the mainstream crowd.  It has its teary moments, and the performances are top notch. Generally, I liked it.
