Les Misérables (2012)

Underwhelming. Although I did shed buckets, this isn't exactly a very cinematic experience overall. The opening was impressive, but it got a bit boring towards the end.

Gf*Bf - 女朋友。男朋友 (2012)

Generally okay. Some nice bits, but the overall feel of the film is that it lacks energy. Am not too familiar with the historical context, but do think the character development needs work.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Viewing was slightly wrecked by pesky noisy kids in the same theatre. Film was ok. Pacing felt a bit laggy in the middle. Quite liked Paperman, the short that preceded the feature.

Argo (2012)

Not too bad.

Hotel Transylvania (2012)

Got dragged to watch this. This one's mainly for the kids.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

Not bad. Caught this in 2D Dolby Atmos. The Atmos was worth it. The audience clapped and cheered when the show began and clapped when it ended. 2012 is turning out to be a good year for great blockbuster movies!

Life of Pi (2012)

Caught this in 3D Dolby Atmos. From a visual POV, this film is worth catching in 3D. Not sure about the difference offered by Atmos, but I ain't exactly a technically sensitive kinda guy.

As for the film - it was ok. Not too bad.

The Last Tycoon - 大上海 (2012)

Okay, so-so only.
