The Breaking Ice《燃冬》(2023)

Loved it. Love the way the score supported the narrative. Love the performances, especially by Zhou Dongyu and Qu Chuxiao.
 

Asteroid City (2023)

There's a line in the film that goes, "You can't wake up if you don't fall asleep". I think I was shut eye for maybe half the film. (I must have been tired and stressed from work despite watching on an off day)

Love the opening and ending establishments of Asteroid City. Love the three sisters (witches?).
