Wasn't sure what to expect but ended up liking this much. In the veins of those Clooney driven political flicks, Sandra Bullock really shines in this one.

Enjoyed muchly. Tight storytelling. Fantastic performances. Ruffalo and Keaton really shine in this one.

The Hateful Eight (2015)

Nobody talked during the whole movie!! What a delightful surprise!

Strong storytelling, great cinematography and fantastic use of music and score. IMHO, this film plays to QT's strengths, tho it's also a bit talkie at the start, and has lots of violence. Would have loved to experience watching this in 70mm and with the intermission!

What We Do in the Shadows (2014)

Good fun (Not for kids).

The Danish Girl (2015)

The cinematography is beautiful. I thought Alicia Vikander did a great supporting role. But the whole film felt too staged (and I mean this is a good way) for my personal liking.

Delivers in the fights department. Story felt a bit ummm.... some emo bits. Overall, not that bad, not that good.
