Caught this on a plane. I'm sure the inferior picture and audio quality somewhat affected my appreciation of this film. For what it's worth - it's not too bad a movie.

Love in the Buff - 春嬌與志明 (2012)

Very nice!

Being one of the first in the world to watch this, being able to catch this in the original Cantonese language and watching it in a hall where the audience would cheer and clap and laugh.... this wonderfully entertaining modern romance is a combo of a smart script and a great cast!

Fire in Hell - 지옥화 (2012)

Too arty for my liking. Watched at an industrial screening at HK FILMART.

Paper Moon - 紙月亮 (2012)

Caught this at HK FILMART industrial screening. Technical aspects are okay, but the direction has serious flaws, IMHO.

Watched this on the plane. Story's kinda dull for me.

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011)

Slow film, but it made me cry. Thomas Horn gave a great performance, and Stephen Daldry must be commended for drawing such an able performance out of this young talent.

A Simple Life - 桃姐 (2011)

Nice. Wished I could have watched this in Cantonese though.

The Lady (2011)

This is one of those movies that tries to spread a message. IMHO, it's a competent film, it gave me an insight into Aung San Suu Kyi, and despite it probably abbreviating her struggles, it's an important film that deserves to be seen.
