Despite an interesting plot angle, this is basically a generic romance that failed to keep me entertained enough.

Autumn in March - 午夜烟花 (2009)

Finally got around to watching this on DVD. Approached the film with apprehension, and it's actually not as bad as I though it'd be. Predictable and at times in danger of becoming a bit propaganda-ish, it's nevertheless a commendable first effort.

Mother - 마더 (2009)

A tragic tale infused with quirkiness and a light-hearted approach. Enjoyed the storytelling and the performance by the lead actress.

Avatar (2009)

Fantastic visuals but the storyline was a bit too predictable for my liking.

Zombieland (2009)

Fun and refreshing, but not necessarily essential viewing.

Capitalism: A Love Story (2009)

As usual, watching a Moore documentary taught me something new. It's shocking how much an airline pilot earns in the United States. This is intelligent stuff.

The Informant! (2009)

Nice to see a comic approach to what may be standard plot for a thriller. Second part seems to drag a bit, but this is intelligent stuff and I enjoyed it.
