After watching Spike Jonze's

Robocop feels kinda outdated by comparison (of course one is a more intelligent movie and one is essentially a straightforward action flick). That said, there's still some cool plot points going for Robo and some decent acting, though nothing immediately exceptional. IMHO, the origin segment's either too long or dull, and this became the 3rd movie I dozed off to this year (and it's only January).
